Casa Pacifico is an economical homes design. This home is designed to spill off a mountain or hillside. The upper terrace and kitchen area are open to the open air. There are glass panels that can close this area when the home is not in use or you want to close off the area. You can notice on the floor plan the staircase that travels to the lower section is of a wide design with planters at the bottom. We did this on purpose to house in a laundry room under the stairs.
Economical homes in Costa Rica pertain to passive cooling and mold resistant materials. The details of this home more than demonstrate these attributes. In addition to architectural element beautification, we added decor ceilings to the mix. That includes a sugar cane (similar to bamboo) in the terrace area. The upper bedrooms have a tray ceiling with ambient lighting. The kitchen has a barrel ceiling with pendant lighting.
The lower level incorporates the laundry area and a third bedroom. There is a full outdoor kitchen with a bar area at the same level as a jacuzzi tub that cascades into a lower pool area. There are many sunny areas and many shaded areas. This home offers comfort at every level.
There are many ‘wow’ factors to excite this home’s attributes. There are rich rustic attributes with elegance. That includes floor to ceiling glass, porcelain tiles, decor ceilings, balcony on the master bedroom, and much more.
